Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 bell peppers, cored and halved
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
- salt to taste
- 3/4 to 1 c. uncooked rice
- water as needed
Method
- Brown meat; drain.
- Add onion, chili powder, rice, tomato sauce and 1 to 1 1/2 cans water.
- Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
