Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (20 ounce) jar pizza sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 7 ounces rotini pasta, cooked
  • 1 (7 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (2 ounce) can slice black olives, drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Saute ground beef, pepper and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain. Add pizza sauce and seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Spread cooked pasta in a greased 13x9 baking pan and pour sauce mixture over pasta. Spread mushrooms and olives over top and sprinkle with cheeses.
  • Cover and bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes.
