Ingredients
- 1 lb. beans
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 or 3 ribs celery (with tops), chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 1 garlic pod
- 1 grated carrot
- ham pieces or ham hocks
Method
- Cover with water and simmer until done.
