Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. butter
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
Method
- Combine shortening, butter and sugar.
- Cream until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Combine flour and baking powder.
- Add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk and vanilla and beating well after each addition.
- Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
