Ingredients
- 2 cup All purpose flour
- 2 cup white sugar
- 2 piece eggs
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 20 ounces crushed pineapple
- 8 ounce cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and sugar. Make well in the center and add the eggs, vanilla and crushed pineapple. Mix to blend.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or to see if the cake is ready insert a toothpick into the cake and see if it comes out clean.
- For the frosting: in a bowl, mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat it until creamy. Spread it on the warm cake.
