Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained and frozen
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups buttermilk

Method

  • Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Serve immediately.
  • Light Pineapple-Buttermilk Shake: Substitute low-fat vanilla ice cream anf fat-free buttermilk; reduce brown sugar to 1/3 cup. Proceed with recipe as directed, and serve immediately.
