Ingredients

  • 1 lb. processed yellow cheese (Velveeta)
  • 1/2 c. milk or cream
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/16 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 can pimientos and juice (4 oz.)

Method

  • Cut cheese into 1-inch cubes and melt slowly in double boiler with milk or cream.
  • Heat slowly for 30 minutes and then stir well.
  • Continue over very low heat until all cheese has completely melted.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, red pepper and pimientos with juice.
  • Mix well and store in refrigerator.
  • (Melting of the cheese with the milk or cream in it can be done in the microwave.)
