Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons polyunsaturated oil
  • 1 34 cups low-fat milk
  • 3 sausages, boiled and quartered length-wise
  • 1 cup tomato sauce or 1 cup tomato chutney

Method

  • Mix the flours and baking powder together.
  • Make a well in the centre and add the oil and milk.
  • Mix to form a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into 12 even-sized pieces.
  • Flatten each piece into a small square, spread with a little tomato sauce or chutney, place the quarter sausage on the dough and roll up.
  • Bake at 200C for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
