Ingredients
- 4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 8 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 4 teaspoons Sugar
- 8 Tablespoons Crisco Shortening, Butter-flavored
- 1- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 pound Hamburger
- 1 pound Sausage, Ground
- Salt
- Pepper
Method
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.
- Cut in Crisco the way you would for pie crust.
- Add milk.
- Take a ball of dough and roll out thinly into a large rectangle.
- (I use the inside area of my cutting board.)
- Cut into 3x4 rectangles.
- Add any dough left over to your next ball of dough.
- Mix meat together with salt and pepper.
- Put approximately 3 to 4 tablespoons of mixture on each rectangle.
- Dont fill them too much.
- The sides have to overlap.
- Roll up ends, then sides.
- Seal sides with milk.
- Place side-by-side in a 9x13 pan.
- Brush tops with milk.
- Bake at 350F for one hour.
