Ingredients

  • 1 large bag egg noodles, cooked
  • 5 to 6 medium potatoes, mashed
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. shredded Velveeta cheese
  • 2 c. shredded sharp cheese

Method

  • Melt margarine; add onions and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Do not let get brown.
  • Mix noodles, margarine and onions.
  • Layer in a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish, 1/2 noodles, 1 cup of each cheese, all the potatoes, rest of noodles and cheeses.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes, uncovered.
  • Let set for 5 minutes and serve.
