Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. ice water
Method
- Sift flour and salt.
- Cut in shortening.
- Using fork, add water, 1 tablespoonful at a time.
- Roll out on floured surface. If recipe calls for a baked pie shell, prick and bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Makes 2 pie shells or 1 double crust.
