- 2 lb. bag hash browns
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
- grated Cheddar cheese (for topping)
Method
- Mix hash browns, melted margarine, sour cream, onion, soup, 1/2 cup grated cheese, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Transfer to a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Top with more Cheddar cheese or crumbled corn flakes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
