Ingredients
- 1 qt. persimmons
- 2 c. hot milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Add some raisins (to taste), dates, coconut and nuts (if desired).
- Put persimmons in colander and set in bowl.
- Pour hot milk over them and work pulp through colander.
- Add goodies to it. Pour into baking pan and cook until fork comes out clean and nice and brown.
- Good plain or with cream cheese frosting or Cool Whip on top.
