Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Heavily grease Bundt pan. With an electric mixer, beat margarine until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, along with flour.
  • It is important to beat well. Pour batter in prepared pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • The cake forms a crisp outside crust.
