Ingredients

  • 24 bell peppers (red and green)
  • 12 onions
  • 12 green tomatoes
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 qt. mayonnaise
  • 1 (6 oz.) jar mustard

Method

  • Chop the peppers, onions and green tomatoes.
  • Combine with the vinegar; cook for 15 minutes, then set aside.
  • Mix together the sugar, water, salt, flour and celery seed; cook for 10 minutes. Add all this together, then add the mayonnaise and mustard.
  • Seal in jars.
  • Great for sandwiches or on crackers for snacks.
