Ingredients
- 24 bell peppers (red and green)
- 12 onions
- 12 green tomatoes
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 qt. mayonnaise
- 1 (6 oz.) jar mustard
Method
- Chop the peppers, onions and green tomatoes.
- Combine with the vinegar; cook for 15 minutes, then set aside.
- Mix together the sugar, water, salt, flour and celery seed; cook for 10 minutes. Add all this together, then add the mayonnaise and mustard.
- Seal in jars.
- Great for sandwiches or on crackers for snacks.
