- 1 lb. sliced round steak, cut into thin strips
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. A.1. steak sauce
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 c. green pepper strips
- 1/4 c. sliced scallions
- 3 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- hot cooked rice
- scallion, for garnish
Method
- In medium bowl, toss sliced steak and cornstarch; set aside. In small bowl, blend water, steak sauce, soy sauce and garlic powder.
- Set aside.
