Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Beat eggs well and mix with other ingredients except pecans. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell to which nuts have been added. Bake in 350° oven until the custard has set, about 40 minutes or when it begins to crack.
