Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 pie crust (9-inch)
Method
- Mix sugar, syrup and melted margarine.
- Add eggs and mix well. Stir in pecans and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Pour in unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
- Turn oven down to 350° and bake
- about 30 minutes longer or until done.
