Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Beat eggs slightly.
- Add sugar, salt, vanilla, butter and syrup.
- Mix thoroughly and add pecans.
- Pour into 9-inch pie crust that has been prebaked for 5 minutes in oven.
- Bake slowly at 300° for 1 hour.
- For 2 pies, double all ingredients, except use 5 eggs.
