Ingredients
- unbaked 10-inch pie shells (2)
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. and 1 tsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pecan halves
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Beat eggs just until blended.
- Add sugar, salt and corn syrup.
- Add cooled melted butter and vanilla. Mix to blend well.
- Spread nuts in bottom of pie shell.
- Pour in filling.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Makes two 10-inch pies.
