Ingredients
- 1 lb. sweet or hot sausage, browned
- 2 (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 2 cans water (from paste)
- 1 lb. 12 oz. can tomato puree
- 1 can water (from puree)
- 1 lb. 1 oz. can plum tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- scant Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning mix
Method
- Brown sausage; drain well. Add each following ingredient, stirring after each addition. Add 1 teaspoon pepper; simmer for about 5 hours.
