Ingredients
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. white Karo syrup or pancake syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. pecan meats, chopped
- 1/2 c. whole pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 raw pie crust
Method
- Cream butter, sugar and salt.
- Add well-beaten eggs, syrup, nuts and vanilla.
- Mix well and put in raw pie shell.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour (approximately); do not overbake.
