Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 9 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- powdered sugar
Method
- Cream butter and 9 tablespoons powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Blend in vanilla; add flour and nutmeg, mixing until well blended.
- Stir in pecans.
- Shape dough into finger shapes about 2 inches long.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 300° for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Cook and roll each in powdered sugar. Yields about 4 dozen.
