Ingredients
- 1 c. soft butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 c. pecans, ground
- pecan halves
Method
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and add remaining ingredients, except pecan halves.
- Mix well and chill until firm. Shape into 3/4-inch balls. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheets and top each with a pecan half.
- Bake in preheated 325° oven for 20 minutes.
- Yields 6 to 8 dozen.
