Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Method

  • First mix the flour with 1 cup sugar and then cream the butter with the second cup of sugar.
  • Add the well beaten yolks of egg, the beaten whites, flour and sugar.
  • Add the milk and lastly, the nuts.
  • Mix all well together.
  • Pour into a well buttered baking dish and bake 45 minutes at 350°.
  • Custard may be served hot or cold with whipped cream.
