Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 pound peas with 2 c. liquid or possibly 1 can of peas with liquid
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Method

  • Saute/fry onions in butter till soft and not brown; add in parsley, peas and liquid.
  • Dissolve cornstarch in lowfat milk and add in to lowfat sour cream with sugar.
  • When peas come to boil, add in lowfat sour cream and remove from heat and stir.
  • Remove from low heat to keep hot.
