Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • grated chocolate cookie crumbs (optional)
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped

Method

  • Combine 1 1/4 cups cookie crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup melted margarine to make crust.
  • Press into 9-inch pie plate and bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • In mixing bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar, margarine and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.
  • Gently spoon into crust.
  • Garnish with crumbs, if desired.
  • Refrigerate.
