Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) oleo
  • 1 c. each: granulated and firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (11.5 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Beat oleo, sugar and peanut butter in large bowl on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  • Beat eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Stir in chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Cool 2 minutes.
  • Remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack.
  • Makes 4 dozen.
