Ingredients
- 2 pkg. lean hamburger
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 2 eggs
- pepper and salt
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- large chopped onion
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- enough bread crumbs or cracker crumbs to thicken
- may also add rice, celery or hot sauce
Method
- Shape into loaf and place in well-greased pan.
- Place sliced carrots around meat.
- Cover and cook 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350°. Add sliced or quartered potatoes and cover.
- Bake 30 more minutes or until potatoes are done.
- Remove cover and brown, approximately 10 minutes.
