Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Thoroughly cream margarine, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.
- Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture.
- Shape in 1-inch balls and place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Crisscross with a fork, slightly floured.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cool slightly; remove from pan.
- Makes 4 dozen.
