Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- nuts, if desired
- 15 graham crackers
Method
- Boil butter, sugar and vanilla for 3 minutes.
- In jelly roll pan, spread whole graham crackers (not honey grahams - plain grahams) in a single layer.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
- Pour hot syrup over crackers.
- Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
- Remove from pan while warm.
- Store in tight tin.
- Takes 15 double graham crackers.
