Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. peanut butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pkg. of Hershey's Kisses
Method
- Cream shortening and peanut butter; add sugars.
- Add egg, vanilla and milk; beat well.
- Combine flour, soda and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape dough into 1-inch balls, roll in white sugar or colored sugar for holidays.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Remove from oven and place Hershey's Kiss on cookie until the cookie cracks slightly.
