Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 cans French-style green beans, drained well
  • 1 can LeSueur peas, drained well
  • 1 pkg. frozen lima beans, drained well
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained well
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

Method

  • Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice.
  • Layer 1 cup beans, 1/2 cup peas, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 of the onion and 1/2 of the water chestnuts.
  • Spread 1/2 of the mayonnaise mixture and repeat.
  • Top with crushed Ritz crackers.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes. Serves 8 or more.
