Ingredients
- 1 regular size can lite sliced peaches
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Melt butter or margarine in medium casserole or glass baking dish.
- In small saucepan on low heat, heat fruit and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
- Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl.
- Pour mixture into melted butter. Spoon fruit on top of batter.
- Spoon remaining juice over fruit and batter.
- Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
- Cool 10 minutes.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
