Ingredients

  • 1 regular size can lite sliced peaches
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Melt butter or margarine in medium casserole or glass baking dish.
  • In small saucepan on low heat, heat fruit and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
  • Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl.
  • Pour mixture into melted butter. Spoon fruit on top of batter.
  • Spoon remaining juice over fruit and batter.
  • Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  • Cool 10 minutes.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream.
