Ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 2 c. whipping cream
- fresh fruit
Method
- Whip egg whites until they form peaks.
- Gradually add sugar, vanilla and vinegar.
- Continue beating until very stiff.
- Spread waxed paper or brown paper (cut into a circle, slightly larger than desired size of dessert) on a cookie sheet.
- Put mixture onto paper and shape with slight hollow in center.
- Bake mixture one hour at 250°.
- Turn off oven and leave for several hours to dry. Top with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
