Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco (white)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. water

Method

  • Cut Crisco into flour until pieces are size of peas.
  • Add 1 egg and vinegar.
  • Mix a little and add water.
  • If it feels too sticky, add a little more flour.
  • Roll out on floured surface, adding a little more flour.
  • Roll around rolling pin to lift onto pie dish. Makes 2 layers.
  • Any left over, freeze until you have enough for 1 more layer.
  • Bake at 425° for about 12 minutes or according to pie directions.
