Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless pork steak (1/2-inch thick)
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large Golden Delicious apple, sliced thin
  • 1 1/4 c. apple juice
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 Tbsp. pickle relish
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. cooked rice

Method

  • In a wok, melt 3 tablespoons butter or margarine to 350°.
  • Add pork; cook and stir 6 minutes.
  • Remove from wok and reserve. Reduce heat to 300° and melt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
  • Add the onion; cook and stir 3 minutes.
  • Add the apple; cook and stir 2 minutes.
