- 1 lb. boneless pork steak (1/2-inch thick)
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 1 large Golden Delicious apple, sliced thin
- 1 1/4 c. apple juice
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 2 Tbsp. pickle relish
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. cooked rice
Method
- In a wok, melt 3 tablespoons butter or margarine to 350°.
- Add pork; cook and stir 6 minutes.
- Remove from wok and reserve. Reduce heat to 300° and melt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
- Add the onion; cook and stir 3 minutes.
- Add the apple; cook and stir 2 minutes.
