Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. stew meat
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. roux
- 1 pkg. beef stew mix
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 c. water
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- carrots, chopped
- potatoes, chopped
Method
- Brown meat.
- Add roux, onion, celery, carrots, package of stew mix and water.
- Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
- Add potatoes.
- Lower heat and cook for 1/2 hour.
