- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 carton frozen broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/3 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 c. Velveeta
Method
- Cook spaghetti and drain.
- Cook broccoli according to package directions to tender-crisp.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large, heavy skillet over moderate heat.
- Stir in garlic, basil leaves, onions and parsley.
- Cook 1 to 2 minutes.
- Turn off heat and gently mix in with cooked broccoli.
