- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 14 oz. drained sauerkraut
- salt and pepper
- 8 oz. wide egg noodles
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
- Brown the meat.
- Saute onion in the oil. Add soup, sauerkraut, salt and pepper.
- Cook the noodles according to directions on package.
- Add to meat mixture.
- Put in 3-quart casserole that has been greased.
- Mix bread crumbs, cheese and melted butter. Sprinkle over the top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes, uncovered.
