- 2 lb. ground meat
- 2 onions
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 14 oz. can spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
- 8 oz. box small shell macaroni
- 1 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1/2 lb. Provolone cheese
- 1/2 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Simmer first 6 ingredients for 20 minutes.
- Cook shell macaroni al dente.
- Drain macaroni and set aside.
- In a 13 x 9-inch pan, lightly coat the bottom of the pan with a little of the meat and mushroom sauce.
- Layer half of the macaroni.
- Layer half of the meat sauce on top of the macaroni, then layer half of the sour cream on top of the meat sauce.
- Repeat layers of remaining macaroni, meat sauce and sour cream.
- Top with Provolone and Mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
