Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground meat
  • 2 onions
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
  • 14 oz. can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 8 oz. box small shell macaroni
  • 1 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 lb. Provolone cheese
  • 1/2 pkg. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Simmer first 6 ingredients for 20 minutes.
  • Cook shell macaroni al dente.
  • Drain macaroni and set aside.
  • In a 13 x 9-inch pan, lightly coat the bottom of the pan with a little of the meat and mushroom sauce.
  • Layer half of the macaroni.
  • Layer half of the meat sauce on top of the macaroni, then layer half of the sour cream on top of the meat sauce.
  • Repeat layers of remaining macaroni, meat sauce and sour cream.
  • Top with Provolone and Mozzarella cheeses.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
