Ingredients
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 chopped carrot
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1/2 lb. tubettini (pasta)
- 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Add all ingredients except tubettini and olive oil.
- Cook slowly for 45 minutes.
- Cook tubettini in salted water.
- Drain. Add to beans and vegetables.
- Sprinkle with grated Romano cheese.
