Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs, grated
- 1/3 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
Method
- Mix all ingredients except chili sauce and grape jelly and make into 1-inch balls.
- Brown in 1/4 cup shortening.
- Pour off grease.
- Combine in skillet the chili sauce and grape jelly.
- Melt and dissolve.
- Add balls.
- Simmer 30 minutes.
