Ingredients

  • 3 cups Kraft Tartar Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)
  • 12 each eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Coarsely ground black pepper
  • 4-1/2 cups panko bread crumbs
  • 1-1/2 cups sesame seed
  • - cod fillets, cut into 3-oz. strips
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 gal. frozen steak fries, crisply cooked
  • 24 each lemon wedges

Method

  • Mix tartar sauce and Sriracha until well blended.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Mix eggs, sesame oil, salt and pepper in shallow container.
  • Combine bread crumbs and sesame seed in second container.
  • Lightly dredge fish in flour.
  • Dip into egg mixture, then into bread crumb mixture, turning to evenly coat all sides.
  • Fry in 325F (160C) deep fryer 4 to 5 min.
  • or until cooked through and golden brown.
  • For each serving: Serve 6 oz.
  • (170g) fish with 2 Tbsp.
  • (30 mL) sauce mixture, 1 cup (250 mL) fries and a lemon wedge.
