Ingredients
- 2 lb. meat (chicken, beef or pork)
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. coriander
- 1 tsp. oil or butter
- salt to taste
- 1 c. water or as needed
Method
- Saute onion in fat; add seasoning and a little water.
- Stir. Add meat and brown in the seasoned sauce; add more water and cook until tender.
- For a little thicker gravy, dust the meat with flour before browning.
- Serve with oven-boiled rice, a side dish of chepaties (tortillas), green beans or any vegetable of your choice.
