Ingredients
- 1 1/2 loaves bread
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. Milnot
- salt
- pepper
- 2 (12 oz.) cans oysters
- chicken broth
- butter
Method
- Toast bread in oven.
- In bowl, mix eggs, Milnot and a little salt.
- In another bowl, put oysters, salt them and turn.
- Heat chicken broth.
- Mix a little hot chicken broth in eggs and Milnot. Put oysters in this.
- Crumble bread and put oysters and egg mixture in and then pour boiling broth over bread.
- Taste for salt and pepper.
- Add a lump of butter.
- Heat at 350° for 1 hour.
