Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb. stew beef, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 medium potatoes, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 stalks celery, cut in small pieces
  • 2 carrots, cut up small
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder (if desired)

Method

  • Place in heavy duty foil.
  • Divide stew meat, potatoes, onions, carrots and celery.
  • Season each serving and divide the can of tomatoes over each.
  • Place on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 2 hours.
