Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli spears
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 to 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • buttered bread crumbs

Method

  • Cook fryer in boiling water with 1/2 tablespoon dry onion, stalk celery and 2 teaspoons of salt. Not too much water.
  • (Use rich broth to cook rice.) Cook chicken until tender.
  • Let cool until skin can be removed and cut in bite-size pieces. Steam broccoli until just tender.
  • Drain and place in bottom of casserole.
  • Add chicken.
