Ingredients
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix or Jiffy mix
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
- 1 tsp. paprika
Method
- Heat margarine in oblong pan (13 x 9 x 2-inches), until melted.
- Mix in baking mix, salt, paprika and pepper; coat chicken.
- Place chicken pieces, skin sides down in pan.
- Bake uncovered in 425° oven 35 minutes.
- Turn chicken; bake uncovered until done, about 15 minutes.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
