Ingredients
- 15 c. popped popcorn
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Heat oven to 200°.
- Divide popcorn between 2 ungreased rectangular pans, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
- Heat brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt to simmering over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes; remove from heat.
- Stir in baking soda.
- Pour over popcorn; stir until well coated.
- Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
